Dart Players
1. Phil Taylor (undisputed)
2. Raymond van Barneveld (the only man who has the game to beat Phil Taylor on several occasions).
3. Eric Bristow (dominated darts in a different era but would not have a look-in against the top 2).
4. John Lowe (consistently good. 1st 9 darter on TV).
5. Jocky Wilson (on his day could beat anyone).
Motor Racing (modern era)
1. Nigel Mansell (controversial choice this one but he won both F1 World Championship & Indy Car Championship)
2. Michael Shumaker (broke most records but not the most exciting driver and was also guilty of gamesmanship).
3. Ayrton Senna (multiple World Champion who sadly died racing).
4. Alain Prost (Senna's rival).
5. Lewis Hamilton (He will win more world titles).
Cricketers
1. Ian Botham (the greatest all rounder and entertainer).
2. Don Bradman (test match average 99 (enough said)).
3. Shane Warne (could bowl like no other player).
4. Gary Sobers (great all-rounder. 6 sixes in one over).
5. Malcolm Marshall (one of many great West Indian pacemen).
Tennis Players (from 1970's)
1. Bjorn Borg (played with a wooden racket so this needs to be considered when comparing with current players)
2. Federer (dominated tennis until Nadal).
3. Nadal (could overtake Federer's Grand Slam wins).
4. Sampras (consistent but dull champion).
5. Agassi (entertaining player who had the game to beat anyone on his day).
Snooker
1. Steve Davis (dominated snooker in the 1980's).
1. Stephen Hendry (dominant champion but short of charisma).
3. Ronnie O'Sullivan (possibly the greatest natural talent ever).
4. John Higgins (hasn't won as much as others but is possibly the most complete player).
5. Alex Higgins (the great entertainer).
Athletes
1. Emil Zatopek (won the 5k, 10k and marathon in the same olympic games. The greatest achievement).
2. Ussain Bolt (destroyed the 100m & 200m world records. In a class of his own).
3. Michael Johnson (200m & 400m champion. Like Bolt in a class of his own).
4. Jesse Owens (great olympic champion and world record holder).
5. Carl Lewis (great olympian but not the most popular).
