My List of Greatest Guitarists

1. Jimmy Page (most inventive guitarist with more riffs than any other).
2. Jimi Hendrix (raw genius and most original guitarist. Didn't have the output of Jimmy Page).
3. Eric Clapton (one of the greats).
4. Brian May (unique style. You can always tell a May guitar lick).
5. Peter Green (saw a brilliant recent documentary about him. Brilliant guitarist who wrote several classics. Illness cut short his career).
6. Keith Richards (technically not the best but he had a unique `chopping' style and delivered great rock n roll riffs).
7. Chuck Berry (one of the original rock n roll guitarists who inspired others).
8. Lindsey Buckingham (great guitarist and quick on the acoustic guitar).
9. George Harrison (read an article about him and the writer said he was a great guitairist who never wasted a note. How true).
10. The Edge (unique style).
