Live Concerts

MY List of Favourite Live Acts I Have Seen

1. Queen (4 Times - Best Live Band. Visually the best. Freddie the best frontman. Excellent musicianship).
2. Elvis Costello (6 Times - Always plays a full set of the songs you want to hear. Perfect).
3. Page / Plant (Glastonbury - 1995 - Powerful short set).
4. Whitesnake (Hammersmith Odeon 1984 - Heavy Rock at its best - Coverdale and the band played a perfect set).
5. Paul Mc Cartney (1980's - Wembley Arena - Played Beatles songs never played live before and Lennon's Imagine).
6. Bruce Springsteen (Twice - Great Live act but not the best).
7. Tears For Fears (Three Times - Great singing and top melodies)
8. Simple Minds (Hammersmith Odeon - early 1980's - Great Music)
9. David Bowie (Wembley Arena - 2000's - Played his best songs. Very good show).
10. U2 (Unforgettable Fire Tour Wembley Arena - At their best before they were real).
11. Echo & The Bunnymen (Twice. Good Live but not perfect).
12. Bob Dylan (Hammersmith Odeon - Oh Mercy tour - One of his best).
13. Oasis (Glastonbury - Just before the second album was released - great short set).
14. Nick Heyward (Astoria Theatre - North of A Miracle Tour - Very Good).
15. Morrisey (Earl's Court - Good show - Lacked Smiths songs).
16. Ultravox - (Hammersmith Odeon - early 1980's - Good show).
17. Ozzy Osbourne (Hammersmith Odeon - Bark at the Moon Tour - Good show)
18. Chuck Berry (Hammersmith - Good but short concert).
19. Prefab Sprout (Hammersmith - Brilliant on record but average live).
20. BB King (Hammersmith Odeon - Okay)
21. Van Morrison (Hammersmith Odeon - Poor show)

* Also seen Dariush (Persian Singer) who was excellent.
