*It is the inconsistency in the application of international law that causes problems. It should be the same rule for all.
*It has failed in being consistent in punishing aggressors who attack Iran ! It turned a blind eye to Saddam Hussein (in 1980) & now Israel.
*The international community must be consistent with the way it deals with aggressors.
*Pre-emptive military action against a perceived threat is not justified or legal under international law.
*This view also applies of course to Israel and they must not be allowed to attack Iran. If they do they must be punished for it.
*This view applies to all aggressors without exception. The international community were wrong in not dealing with Saddam Hussein in 1980.
*If the international community ignores or does not punish aggressors then it only encourages bad behaviour and dictatorship in the future.
*Mubarak and Bin Laden were also justly brought to justice for their crimes against innocent people. The message will finally get through.
*Galtieri, Saddam, Gaddafi, Hitler were all brought to justice for their aggression and rightly so. Civilised behaviour must be learnt !
*Saddam Hussein & Iraq were the aggressors against Iran and Kuwait and were eventually (albeit very late) punished for their aggression.
*Future conflicts can only be avoided if the aggressors are punished by the international community and all dictators are brought to justice.
*A simple rule but the fairest way of apportioning blame in any war or conflict between 2 countries.
*This general rule should apply to all nations that fire the first bullet or drop the first bomb in aggression.
*The message has got to be made clear - those countries who are the aggressors and start wars must take the consequences of their actions !
*The Falklands War should never have happened and should never happen again. The loss of life (especially British) was a tragedy. RIP.
*30th Anniversary of the Falklands War. The right to self-determination must always be defended and promoted.
